Philippine clothing

     The clothing style of the Filipinos in the modern day era has been influenced by their native ancestors, the Americans, the Japanese, and the Spaniards. Philipines has been under spanish colony for more than 300 years (1521-1872). Filipinos adapted most of the Spanish culture such as; food, language, traditional festivals, religion and clothing. The Philippines is a tropical climate country. They have two main seasons, dry and rainy so wearing minimal clothing such as; flip-flops, t-shirts, skirt and jeans is not a problem to them. This blog will focus on how Filipinos adapted their traditional clothing and kept it through the years.
