From 1644 AD to 1911 AD
Qing Dynasty was estabished by Manchu people. Because of their nomadic life style, clothing was tight-fitting, concise, easy for riding and shooting. Qing rulers had their own national dress, which held a unique meaning. Their national dress not only represented ancestral traditions but also an important factor in their victorious battles, so they payed much attention to inheritance and development of ethnic costumes. Qing dynasty's costumes were also the most complex, and had made a great impact on Chinese clothing in the past century.
